Default Code P1000

I'm getting this code [P1000 OBDII systems readiness test not complete] I thought it was because the FICM had not been programed to the PCM, so I had the truck by a local mechanic shop that was recomended by several buddies so he could hook her up and do the programing....$65 later i'm still getting coded...crap!

anybody have an idea what exactly the P1000 code is trying to tell me?

I've heard of this after installing a tuner... I think it means the computer hasn't got enough input from driving. But, in your case it doesn't make sense...

After codes are cleared the p1000 will stay till certain paramiters have been met normally takes a week of drive cycles maybe more.

I don't know that for sure, he said he could do the programing and I was specific when I said what I wanted, but I'm thinking...NOT!
But I didn't know till today when I got my AE connector back from AE (which btw has great customer service) the mechanic came from a near by dealer tho.
I'm mostly clueless when it comes to electronics but I'm learning

Ok if that is the case then the ficm is not in sync with your truck and the PMI (programmable module installation) needs to be done at a dealer or by a ford tech with access to the FMCdealer website. Sorry bud there is no other way unless you can get it to me
