Default Off Idle Blue Smoke

I am new here and am seeking advice..

I have a 2006 6.0L that a few weeks ago it started blowing blue smoke when pulling away from a full stop only after it's warmed up. I just had it in the shop and they performed an EGR delete and added a SCT tuner with DP tunes, new oil cooler, upgraded Turbo drain tube, upgraded Turbo feed line, ARP head studs, BD CCV, CCV relocation kit, pulled the innercooler, cleaned and hot tanked it, added S&B cold air intake and the blue spring updrade. Truck runs like a champ. No loss of power both before and after work performed, but still blows blue smoke when pulling away from a stop after warmed up. Please Help

Sticking spool valves maybe? Just a shot in the dark. What oil do you run? Have you tried any additives dreed on here gas had good luck with the revx stuff.

Welcome to FDP!

Are there any other issues? Is it running well? I kinda suspect a turbo seal but I've read a FICM on its way out will do the same thing. WAG

You should be running one of the oil additives. Rev-x or the HotShots product. Up to you of course just a suggestion. Injectors are expensive.

my 97 smoked a little blueish white when I first got it and it was only at start up then I started using diesel kleene in the dark grey bottle at every fill up per instructions after about the third fill up the smoked stopped and it actually ran better so I use it everytime I fill up besides it has an cetane boost also, just saying it worked for me!

cracked nozzles, stuck spool valves and even a weak injector for any other reason Will cause the blue smoke issue. When u check the truck with a scantool, do tests warm and cold. Make sure it's no just a code reader. I've found them to not always display codes. Make sure it does enhanced powertrain. Guessin u will find one injector with an issue.

the ficm is weak 38 volts so it is being fixed..will see but i dought it the cause of the smoke cause it smells like oil to me ...and the injectors have checked out good.it also runs great... wil let you all know what i find..if it is the turbo seal i think im going with a power max instead of rebuilding the stocker
