Default 20's or 18's

Well the time has come where I will be buying some wheels/tires at the end of the month.

Going with chrome and a -24 offset, still on the fence on 18's or 20's I have looked at the Fuel Krank which I love but is spendy for my taste, moto metal 962 is a nice wheel but I'm still on the fence. Those two wheels are the type of design I like on the wheel.

Any pics of other wheels that might look good are welcome or links. The truck will eventually turn sonic blue so I want the chrome so the wheels pop and look nice with the paint.

Man I have been looking at wheels and tires as well. I would say that 18's or 20's you aren't loosing. Only difference I see is price in tires. The bigger the wheel the more the rubber. Fuel makes some damn nice wheels I like the throttle machine black myself. How big of rubber you going? Good luck with your choice.

Just going with a 33x12.50 or a 305/55 series, just depends on price and quality. It's a hard decision with the amount of wheel manufacturers that are out there now days.

I would do 20's the price of 18's is ridiculous. Plus most of the 20's come in a 10 wide and the 18's go up almost 100 when you get past a 9 and 200 for 12.

Moto metals 962's have been looking good, and they are much less than fuels by $75-$100

If you put 20's on an OBS ill drive to your house and kick you in the nuts. They belong on superduties, not OBS'

I agree with the first part. 20's don't belong on anything but a truck that never sees anything but blacktop. Only way to make them even come close to looking good is putting some huge rubber around them. Most tires that are made for 20's are very square and look like street tires. Even the MT's look dumb. Not to mention if you go off road at all airing down won't do you nearly as much good because the sidewalls are so short. ESPECIALLY if you're only going with 33's stick to an 18 at the tallest. 16 or 17's are just fine too. Personally I wouldn't go any bigger than my 17's, especially with a 33' tire.

I do admit I have seen some awesome looking trucks that run 20s with 35s and 37s, but I hate how they look on an OBS, But then again there are people who think my truck looks dumb with the 17s and 35s
