Default 6.0 HEAD STUDS

I found a set of the ARP's for my truck. I can get them for about 470.00 Anyone know of anywhere cheaper? Also I am looking to upgrade to the silverline dual exhaust and probably go with the sct... Everyone is praising them. its just 500-600 more than I wanted to spend. Back to the head studs is this a task that many of you have tackled or is it best to send out to have done? I have all necessary mechanics tools to do this i think. Is anything special needed for this? ANY INSIGHT WOULD BE GREAT.

I do know that getting the head studs in the rear of the heads is a PITA big time, you may be way better off to pull the cab to do them.

does cab need to come completely off or just need to raise about 6"-foot or so? this sounds like a big hassle... I havent looked under the hood yet but is there a chit load of stuff to unbolt off of the firewall etc...

pretty common price for just the studs

as far as i have heard the cab as to come completly up and best bet is to pull the heads off and have them checked and have someone check the block out, then install new gaskets at the same time to ensure everything will be 100% break free in the end most shops can do it for $3-$4k
