if you could keep your eyes peeled for used BTS or JW transmissions that would be awesome. Or someone wanting to put an auto in his truck and give me his zf5.

I have a transmission that is failing quickly, and so the truck is just parked till i can fix it because i dont want it to be completely shot.

I also cant afford a brand new BTS, so used is good

Man good luck with that. I hardly ever see those used. If I see one I'll definitely let you know. If you want to go for a new one let me know and I can probably hook you up a little on the price.

What's failing with it? Is it just something like the TC that you can replace?

Here is whats happening... and im not expert trust me!

If i get on it hard, or go up a steepish hill i can smell a faint burning smell. If i sit for to long without airflow to the cooler ive seen temperatures hit 210-215.
Also without the TC locked if i feather the throttle it doesnt feel like it changes the speed much, it just feels weak. And if i really get on it hard i can get it to mess up the shifting, like maybe in then back out of gear. Or TC locked up then itll unlock for a split second.
But to me the TC feels good, when its locked its locked!
